The Painted Hills Wall Hanging
Who says macramé can't take you on a road trip?! This project will take us on a winding, knotty path to the high desert of eastern Oregon...
Come along with us to the high desert's Painted Hills, one of Oregon's "Seven Wonders."
After a road trip to this magical place, Emily got knotting on what would become this spiraling ode to the desert. Here she is with her pup, Donut!
Check out a preview of the easy-to-follow video tutorial here:
Materials List:
- 4 bundles of 5mm Cotton Rope. We knotted ours up with Copper, Wheat, Peach and Natural. To make things easy, we made a Painted Hills Fiber pack with these colors! Check it out here.
- 2 S-Hooks
- A dowel, piece of driftwood or foraged branch will do nicely.
- Scissors
- Measuring tape
- Masking tape
Can get enough of the desert lifestyle? We couldn't either! Check out our Painted Hills Mood Board on Pinterest here for the ultimate desert inspiration!
We can't wait to get started knotting with you! Download the tutorial today and begin your journey. We'll be with you every step of the way.
