TOUR RECAP: What's In The Bag?

Catherine Rising During each Modern Macramé workshop, students receive a gift bag of some special surprises, as well as all materials needed to complete a finished project during the class. Materials vary depending on the project; for example, while wall hanging projects include a dowel, chandelier classes include brass hoops and a light cord. We usually include bundles of our 5mm rope in natural; however, this can vary depending on the project and event. We always have extra rope available for sale at the end of a class in case you catch the macramé bug and can't wait to start on your next project!

Most of our workshops are open to beginners or knot tiers of all skill levels. If the class is more advanced, we will mention it in the description!

Workshop participants in San Francisco

For our summer tour, workshop participants were treated with extra special gifts from our tour sponsors in their bags. Each stop was a little bit different, but the brands below were included in some of the bags. We loved parting with like-minded brands, creating beautiful products, to make our summer book tour that much more special for workshop attendees!

If you missed our summer tour but want to try out some of the products for yourself, here is what what included:

Fuji Film instax

Emily Katz with Union Wine and a macramé cookie

Tour workshop participants were also treated to instant photos we took with our Fuji Instax camera and boozy refreshments courtesy of Union Wine, KYLA Kombucha and Gem + Bolt mezcal.

We look forward to hosting more of you in our upcoming workshops! And to treating you to beautiful macramé materials and gift bags.
