Ethereal Wedding Inspiration Featuring Modern Macramé
Wondering what kind of decorations will add the perfect finishing touches to your wedding plans? If you've envisioned your special day adorned with macramé but don't know where to start, consider this unique take on a macramé wedding. We've got just the right knots to help you tie the knot!
Typically, macramé weddings are accompanied by pampas grass and '70s-inspired boho vibes. But who says we can't think outside the box? This ethereal wedding shoot is flipping the script on all things macramé! With dainty details and gentle blooms, this styling captures the essence of spring, sunshine and a bit of whimsy.
Modern Macramé's Emily Katz came together with a slew of collaborators (check out the full list at the bottom of this post) to create swoon-worthy wedding inspiration for anyone who's dreaming of an exquisite event.
Among the collaborators is Emily's own wedding planner, Sarah from GATHER Events. In an interview for a Green Wedding Shoes feature, Sarah shared that "for this editorial, we’re so excited to collaborate with Modern Macramé on an earthy, elemental take on a spring micro wedding at Vessel by Eÿn Vas. Taking cues from the organic materials used to weave little details like napkin rings, wristlets, and hairpieces, we work to create menus and signage also reflective of materials derived directly from the earth. Stone and clay and wood perfectly paired the soft, lush textiles to create depth and texture."
